Nonfiction: Nature/Place/Environment

"The simple journey to inner abundance begins with Earth. Earth is female, and as a woman, you are one with her. Transform and influence your life, become exquisite. Learn the tools to positively direct your life. Join with Earth's loveliness and unlock your own." With these opening lines, Earth is Your Sweet Spot had me hooked. I wanted to know more. I wanted to learn these tools of which Elinwood and Lanier wrote.

This slim volume (all 117 pages of it) imparts a wealth of knowledge to women of all ages. Part didactic sharing, part workbook, part meditation, part life mapping, part call to arms, this book will speak to women in comfortable ways that encourage, validate and reassure.

Earth is Your Sweet Spot is one of those books that is meant to be read through once to get familiar with the subject, and then read again and again to savor and experience more fully all that it has to offer.

To share details would, in this reviewer's estimation, ruin the experience for future readers. Instead, I offer a sampling of the many gems that can be found in reading here:

"Earth is your source of vitality...one way you can realize your union with her is through your personal memories."

"Your connection to Earth and her resonance isn't something you have to learn, you already know it..."

"Imagine how this world would be if every woman walked and talked in her own unique femininity...To be uniquely whole and beautiful is the birthright of every woman. When grounded into Earth, a woman is in her true nature."

"It is a daily joining with earth that's key..."

"Let Earth be your primary supportive relationship. Study her. Understand and integrate the reciprocity in action that you observe in nature."

"Earth is the school, life is the classroom, experience is the teacher, and nature is the textbook that teaches us how to contribute harmony and happiness."

"When a woman is emotionally hurt, Earth offers a metaphor for healing that many women understand naturally..."

"A woman never needs to be a victim. She has the ability, just like Earth, to bring up new life from every experience."

Are you intrigued yet? If so, you absolutely owe it to yourself to read Earth is Your Sweet Spot. And, you owe it to the women you care about to share its message with each of them!
